Great stay, polite staff, very close to the best part of the beach, and very close to convenience stores and coffee shop

Very clean and quiet room and the hotel is located just across from a really nice calm section of the beach.

We requested a late checkout, but the hotel policy is 20,000 won for one hour late checkout (12:00), which I think is a bit high.

nice place for a vacation

exllent location, beautiful sea view, lovely seaside street. the room was clean and spacious.

the power of hair dryer was weak and there was not a curtain between the bathtub and the toilet so that the whole bathroom became really wet when you took a shower.

staff were nice, all speak english, right next to the beach though we didnt have the beach view with balcony but instead we had lake view with big window

Comfortable bed, beautiful sunrise seaview, convenient location and a very spatious room. It is also very quiet with good noise insulation. Makes for a very good vacation

A convenient & comfortable stay

Neat and clean finishings. Room was serviced and toiletries replaced daily. Slippers and towelling gown provided or request if not already in room. Staff were very helpful and friendly. Good location. 7-Eleven convenience store opposite, short walk to beach, river and main street with a line of restaurants maps of Gangneung and tourist brochures provided at reception which were very helpful for planning activities. Great view from the room. Double windows that open with a filter for insects. Kettle and mugs in room with bottled water in mini fridge provided. A common microwave for the floor. Good pressure, comfortable shower, hot water and spacious bathroom. Besides the vanity table with a mirror and chair, there was also a small table and 2 couch chairs.

With the connected floor and glass seperator not touching ground, water from shower tends to wet almost half the bathroom floor.

Superb

The location was excellent, right in front of the beach. Within walking distance to key places. Get the ocean balcony room, it’s worth it, Rooms are very spacious and staff are friendly and very accommodating. I highly recommend this hotel. It’s a place I would return to. Safe location and good for solo travellers. Seeing the sun rise from my balcony was a highlight of this stay. There is coffee and free ice water downstairs in addition to few bottles In The room fridge. Thanks for such a great stay.

Close to the beach

There was a hot/cold water purifier in the hallway and an espresso machine by the check in desk. It was nice to walk to the beach, and there was a foot washing station in the parking lot.

The check-in was a little stressful and not at all welcoming. Partly because of the language barrier, but I explained over and over again that I had booked 2 rooms, and showed my confirmation on the Booking app, and he didn't want to give me keys for both rooms until after I paid and he finally looked closer. It was weird. The air conditioner also drained the condensation into a hole in the wall in the bathroom, so the floor was always wet.

Nice and unexpected.

The location of the hotel entrance is facing the sea and is a beautiful welcoming sight. The reception area is just a small counter and they cannot speak English. The hotel guest toilet is outside the hotel and is not nice. The room itself was fortunately nice, clean and unexpectedly big and spacious, toilet also big and spacious. My room was supposed to face the lake but since it was on the low floor, can see the carpark instead and the lake view was really insignificant. But to be fair, with the price that I have paid for this hotel is considered above average with their cleanliness and only a short walk to the beach.

Staff not able to speak English and all my bottle drinks were lost when I returned to take my overnight bags. Did not know till I reached the station and was in need for a drink. So my advice is please lock all your overnight bags when you leave at their reception.
